Disclosure Policy and Affiliate Programs

Hey Happy Readers! I wanted to take a moment and explain my disclosure policy in plain English, along with all that legalese you’ll find down at the bottom.  As a way to help support my family I’ve made the decision to open my blog to select advertisements, join a few affiliate programs, and in the future may do the occasional sponsored post. What does that mean for me? Mostly that I can make an income doing what I love doing, which is writing, and sharing things with all of you.

The big question: What does it mean for you? Well, really it doesn’t mean too much.  My content won’t ever be influenced by income, I’ll continue to be honest, fair, and open. I’ll be blogging about the same things I would have anyway. It does give you the opportunity to help me out though! If I share a product, book, or other thing you think you might be interested in, please go ahead and click on the link in the post. You won’t pay any extra by ordering through my link, but I’ll get a little kick back from the company, which will help me be able to start devoting more time to the blog and the content that goes on it. Win – win, right?

Ok, now on to the legalese!
